You and K had been friends for what feels like forever. You guys had gone to the same school and were close in age so you two naturally grew closer. Before you even realized, you two were best friends. But as time went by you couldn’t help but look at K differently, Over the years he had filled out and his features grew more defined. Anyone who knew K would notice this, unless they were blind.

But you hadn’t even registered your own feelings changing, not until you were head over heels for him. You two shared a love of the performing arts so when he debuted, he managed to get you an audition and then he stepped back and let you handle it. He knew you’d land the rest yourself, he always had a blind faith in you. He trusted you more than you trusted yourself. It was a little bit after that, that you realized you’re own feelings towards K.

It was one look, and a dark room, a light hearted joke.

It had been a few months since you had begun your training, and to say that you were exhausted was a major understatement. It was well past 10 at night your monthly evaluations were right around the corner and you couldn’t quite nail the choreography that you would be tested on. Your body was tired and you were drained but you couldn’t just give up. Your eyes were aching so you had dimmed the lighting just enough to relieve the dull ache.

You were so into your practice that you hadn’t heard your phone going off, you didn’t hear the messages that k was sending to check on you. And lets just say when he got no response, he went to check on you himself. Because how dare his best friend not answer him.

What you did hear was the door to the practice room opening. You had thought for a second that it would be an instructor coming to kick you out of the room, luckily it was not. It was just K.

“You weren’t answering me…i was worried about you.” K said, being the one to always speak his mind. But he could read you like a book. So why bother hiding your exhaustion. Without saying anything, you let out a sigh and not-so-gracefully sat down on the ground. You laid back and simply said. “I have been at it for hours and i cannot get it right no matter how hard i try. Im not that much of a dancer.”

And then he gave you that look, the look that would make you feel so loved and cared for that it unlocked all of those hidden feelings.

“Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re doing so well. Even if you do not realize it. You know….i think i saw some janitors, trainees… even a few pigeons watching you dance through the windows. An amazing performance.” He said jokingly, although he truly meant that you did an excellent job. He had just wanted to see you smile instead of looking like you would cry any second.

And after that, your feelings for him kept growing but you were certain he would never see you as anything more than a friend. Still you always had hope that he /could/.

That was until you had gone to the mall one day and were window shopping by yourself, you had invited K along but he had said that he was at a practice. You didn’t think anything of it, they had a comeback coming up anyway. You really didn’t give it a second thought. Well…until you did.

You had walked into your favorite store, the place where you got all of your clothes from. It was locally owned and they only had this one location. Everything about it made you smile, from the dresses to the shoes, to their jewelry. You were happily browsing but that soft peaceful smile that you had faded in an instant.

Right in front of you was K and a girl you had never seen before standing in front of a bracelet rack. They were clearly close, leaning closer to each other as they talked.

In that second, it felt like your whole world had came crashing down. Why had he lied to you about practice? Why was he here with /her/? And why was she standing so close to him? A thousand questions raced through your head as K looked up and made eye contact with you. There was panic in his eyes in that second, and without a word you turned around and left. If only you knew the real reason that he was so panicked….

Unknown to you, the reason he was there in the first place was because he had wanted to buy you a bracelet and confess his own feelings that had grown. He wanted it to be romantic and special. A sweet confession. He had asked his cousin to come along and help him pick out something that you would like. He only wanted to surprise you and not hurt you.

He thought situations like this only happened in the dramas that he watched on the television. But K had seen that devastated look in your eyes and he felt the pain that washed over you in that second. You might have fallen for him first but he fell harder that’s for sure.

it was midnight when you decided to go to the convenience store and get some coffee, your head was still swirling with emotions, and the weather outside represented how you were feeling, windy and stormy. Then you felt your phone go off and found that K had texted you, saying that he was on his way to your apartment. All you said in return was that you were getting coffee, to come a different time.

As you rang up your coffee and a little sweet treat, you pulled your hoodie up to cover your hair before going back out in the rain. You wee still hurting but you couldn’t see K until you felt calmer. You didn’t want to lose him entirely.

The bell sounded from the door and before you knew it you heard your name bing called. You’d recognize that voice anywhere.

“she is my cousin.” That was all k said as he walked up to you. And you were still in shock because how had he known that you were at this convenience store.

“This is the only place open that has coffee near your place..” He seemed to hear your silent question, then you noticed that his hair was soaking wet from walking in the rain.

“still. I thought you had practice.” The hurt in your voice had said enough as you walked around him heading back inside. It was all a fresh feeling for you and you still had so many questions left unanswered.

“stop and listen please.” K said following you outside into the pouring rain. That’s when he let the truth slipped past his lips as he let like he was losing his best friend. He grabbed your hand and you felt a smooth, cool metal press against your hand. “I didn’t know that you felt this way about me until i saw that look in your eye today. (Y/n) i was planning to do this in a better setting but ill just tell you now. She was helping me buy you a bracelet, I couldn’t tell you because it was going to be a surprise. But i really like you, actually no. You’re my best friend and you mean the entire world to me, i love you. Im sorry you had to find out this way.” The look in his eyes was a desperate one.

You felt shocked, you had never once considered any of the things that just fell past his lips, and as if he saw your shock he let go of your hand and left the bracelet there. He rocked back on his heels to give you time to process his words as the rain fell around you two.

“i… you like me? Really? But how did you…. Did you know I’ve felt the same?”

“not until today…i saw that look you had. Like you wee heart broken…I can’t risk losing our burnt toast sundays…” His comment made you crack a smile as all the pieces slowly fit into place.

and the rest…. Well that’s history.

-Okay, technicallyit’s /not/ evil. They just constantly use the water in the water bottle theycarry around as a water gun and spray him in the face whenever he gets snappy.He’s usually dripping with water and he considers it an act of evil

-It does come in handyfor certain situations, like if he accidentally catches something one firewhile they’re training. He can just break a fire hydrant open and they candirect it to the fire! Except he apparently isn’t supposed to be breaking thehydrants either

-They always win watergun fights, no matter how hard he tries. He could be the absolute water gunmaster and still somehow lose and he gets so frustrated. They also like to usepools to their advantage- if he’s lounging nearby, he’s instantly swallowed by thewater and forced to join them for a swim

-They do use it forgood on occasion. They’ll help him out and spray someone else when he asks,cool him off if he’s too hot, and even use a lot of water at once to catch himif he falls- he can’t always be mad about it.

-His sweat is onlyabout 30% water since the rest is similar to nitroglycerin, so (S/o) wouldn’thave a lot of control over it. But, if they /were/ able to manipulate it even alittle bit- enough to mess with his explosions- he’d chase after them and throwthem over his shoulder and carry them around as punishment

-Sometimes, theyaren’t aware of puddles surrounding them as they use their quirk and haveslipped more times than they can count. When Katsuki notices, he steers themaround the puddles while they work so they don’t fall again

-For the longest timehe refused to take a drink with them around. He’s had enough water splashed inhis face to have learned that by now- though if he were to stop mutteringinsults under his breath, (S/o) wouldn’t have used his drink against him. Oncegot water up his nose and had to hide behind Kirishima from his wrath

it’s currently 4am and i can’t sleep. i wanted to do this when i woke up but cause i’m so emotional (so excuse my english) + in tears he lp

ever since i was little when someone asked me “what i wanted to be when i grow up?” i told them “i wanted to be happy” and guess what? i am. i’m 20 (to be exact ill be turning 20 in 12 hours LOL) and i don’t know what i’m doing with my life - heck i dont think anyone really knows what they’re doing but i’m proud to say one thing: i’m happy. i’ve had a difficult upbringing and had no one to go to when i needed someone the most. as silly as this sounds but being in this community has brought purpose in my life - to help others. whether it’s through my little positive msgs or spending time in talking to someone, it makes me so happy knowing i made a person’s day a little better. i know i don’t have the time or resources to help everyone but knowing that i can at least help one person already brings so much joy to my day. 

whether you liked my content, commented on my posts, sent asks, asked for help, vented to me or messaged me, i just want to say thank you guys for being part of my family. you’ve all impacted my life in such a positive light i don’t know how to repay you guys. 

i decided to print out all the comments, asks and messages y’all sent for my birthday (as this is one of the first birthday gifts i’ve ever received from a friend - legit i’ve never received a bday present from my friends before lOL …) and placed it by my bedside table so i’ll always be reminded of how sweet you guys are :’+). but don’t worry about making anything okay guys !! i really feel guilty knowing you guys took the time out of your day to make smt for me asdkjfh - just a hbday comment is more than enough okay :’’+) but thank you for making 20th birthday one of the best ones yet. i love you guys so much okay? dont forget that.

hiiiii love! i am sorry it has taken me till the last moments of the weekend to respond to this! my weekend was filled to the brim with crafts, writing, and time outside with my person! i hope the gallaghers had as lovely a time as i did! i am so very bummed to see the workweek begin again 😔

i think we can all agree there were pride festivities this weekend! ian and mickey had their own celebrations at home ofc 😇 perhaps some new toys for the occasion 😇

then they put on their best fits and picked up the family! i like to think debbie has worked through some stuff by now and that sandy has made her way back to the fold. sandy had franny on her shoulders as they walked around the festivities 🥰

they all got their faces painted and bopped around to some music, and i hope they listened to some good speakers! carl has quit his job by now but maybe this helped him find some ideas for ways to get involved in the community. liam will also help him! 

they ate a lot of good food and ian got them all little pride pins 🌈☀️ they all told each other they love each other ad nauseam and mickey had to insist they leave immediately after the fireworks asdkjfh 

they went home and had a classic gallagher summer bash, celebrating their family 🥳

i think buck and maddie have to be sally and gillian???? but the story could be flipped on its head a little bit bc personality-wise buck fits gillian and maddie fits sally BUT doug is absolutely jimmy angelov so you could switch their love stories maybe???? so maddie falls for doug and runs away with him and only gets in contact with buck again when she's in danger (which fits both the film and canon) meanwhile maybe abby is buck's version of sally's husband michael????

and as much as i want them to have aunts i think the only people that could work in that role as far as 911 is concerned is maybe bobby and athena???? like maybe bobby is a distant cousin of margaret or philip or something?? (or athena and hen???? idk we could mess around with canon a lil bit) (or oooh carla as one of the aunts??????? idk there's too many options lmao)

anyway. so buck has lost abby and goes to find maddie bc she's in danger and can't escape doug on her own. doug tries to kill maddie and buck and maddie inadvertently kill him in trying to save themselves (again, it fits with canon)

and wHO is the handsome country detective that's working the case but the one and only eddie diaz!!!! and y'know, instead of buck being the one with kids like sally, eddie had to bring his son christopher to town with him for the investigation bc he's a single dad and well, if evan buckley - actual murder suspect, evan buckley - is great with his kid and has beautiful blue eyes then what's he supposed to do about it!!!

(christopher obviously loves buck and figures everything out before eddie does. "dad, buck's magic." "i know he's special, buddy." "no. he's magic. he can do spells and everything)

(and maybe also eddie's co-worker chimney is helping on the case too and falls in love with maddie, just saying)

and wouldn't you know it? the imaginary person buck concocted a spell about as a kid so he would never fall in love? eddie has/can do all the things young buck listed. he can ride a horse backward, his favourite shape is a star, he has identical scars on both shoulders. and buck can't love him bc abby was his great love and he lost her, the curse got to her and he can't do it again. he won't. eddie's a father!!! christopher can't lose him!!! except. except they break the curse (idk if we wanna go down the doug possession route but y'know asdkjfh)

which means buck can be with eddie and maddie can be with chimney and buck gets to show christopher his magic and everything ends happily ever after and holy shit i'm losing my mind over this????????????

(sidenote: i have always thought crystal by stevie nicks which is in the movie is such a good buddie song rip)
